Leaders from various political parties criticized Pakistan for the reported deaths of civilians during police action in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK). Congress MP Imran Masood emphasized that PoK is an integral part of India and condemned the atrocities faced by its people. He urged for the region to be reunited with India.
All India Muslim Jamaat President Maulana Shahabuddin Razvi Bareilvi called on the United Nations to intervene in response to the alleged violence in PoK. He highlighted the need for impartial investigations into the reported incidents.
Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Nirupam expressed concerns over the situation in PoK, describing it as a growing issue for India. He advocated for the return of PoK to India to ensure the safety of its residents.
JD-U National Spokesperson Rajeev Ranjan Prasad noted the frustration among the people of PoK due to lack of development and job opportunities. He likened the situation to a “volcanic eruption” and criticized the ongoing oppression by the Pakistan Army.
