The political clash in Kerala escalated as Leader of the Opposition, V.D. Satheesan, countered Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s accusations of a BJP-CPI(M) connection. Satheesan dismissed Vijayan’s claims and accused him of historical links with the RSS and BJP, challenging the Chief Minister’s narrative of CPI(M) resistance against the RSS.
Satheesan highlighted instances of alleged CPI(M)-RSS collaboration in the past, including references to historical events and associations between CPI(M) leaders and RSS figures. He questioned Vijayan’s denial of BJP involvement in CPI(M) activities and demanded clarity on allegations of secret meetings with RSS members.
Accusing Vijayan of compromising investigations and protecting his associates, Satheesan emphasized the Congress’s commitment to opposing the Sangh Parivar. He called for Vijayan to address the mounting evidence against him, setting the stage for heightened political tensions in the run-up to the elections.
