Vashu Bhagnani’s Pooja Entertainment dismissed rumors of legal action with PVR INOX Pictures. The production house clarified that their professional relationship with the cinema chain remains strong. Reports suggesting a dispute over film revenue refunds were labeled as inaccurate by the banner.
PVR INOX Pictures reportedly paid a refundable advance of Rs. 100 crore to Pooja Entertainment. The agreement included the release of films like ‘Mission Raniganj’, ‘Ganapath’, and ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’. If these movies underperformed, the production house was to repay the outstanding amount. However, all three films failed to meet box office expectations.
The statement from Pooja Entertainment emphasized their longstanding rapport with the media. They expressed gratitude for the support received and refuted claims of legal conflicts with PVR INOX Pictures. The production banner urged media outlets to verify facts before publishing to prevent misinformation.
Pooja Entertainment highlighted the importance of trust in their journey and reiterated their commitment to cinema and partnerships. The production house is currently entangled in a legal dispute with Tips Industries and director David Dhawan over alleged unauthorized use of content from the film “Biwi No. 1” in “Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai.”
