Posters have appeared in Hyderabad alleging that Bandi Bhageerath, son of Union Minister Bandi Sanjay, is on the run after being accused in a POCSO case. The posters, featuring images of both father and son, were found in Chanda Nagar, Nallagandla, and other locations.

The posters state that Bhageerath is wanted for a sexual assault on a minor in Telangana. People in Hyderabad Metro were seen carrying similar posters, urging the public to inform the police if they spot him. Some individuals blamed Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for the situation, claiming collusion.

A case was filed against Bhageerath under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act on May 8. This incident has sparked a political controversy, with the opposition party demanding Bhageerath’s immediate arrest. Police have issued a notice for Bhageerath to appear for questioning, and he has sought interim bail from the Telangana High Court.
