Lucknow Civil Hospital’s Chief Medical Superintendent, Dr. Devesh Chandra Pandey, confirmed that a medical officer was urgently sent to Prateek Yadav’s residence after his driver sought medical help. Unfortunately, Yadav was brought dead to the hospital, and his body has been sent for a post-mortem examination to determine the cause of death. Prateek Yadav, aged 38, was the husband of BJP leader Aparna Yadav and the step-brother of Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav.
Describing the events, Dr. Pandey stated that a medical officer was dispatched to Yadav’s residence following a plea for medical assistance at 5:30 a.m. The officer promptly transferred Yadav to the hospital, but by 5:55 a.m., he had already passed away. The police were informed, and the body was sent for post-mortem examination. A team of four doctors has been assigned for the post-mortem examination.
Prateek Yadav was not treated at the hospital but was declared brought dead upon arrival. Across party lines, political leaders expressed deep sorrow over his untimely demise. Akhilesh Yadav remembered his step-brother as a health-conscious individual who aspired to achieve success through hard work. He expressed sadness over the loss, highlighting Prateek’s dedication and potential.
