Prateek Yadav, the son of late Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav and husband of BJP leader Aparna Yadav, passed away at the age of 38 in Lucknow. He was declared ‘brought dead’ at the Lucknow civil hospital. Prateek was the stepbrother of former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav.

Family members brought Prateek Yadav to the civil hospital early in the morning, where he was pronounced ‘brought dead’. Aparna Yadav, his wife, was not present at the time. A panel of doctors at the King George Medical University and hospital will conduct a post-mortem examination to determine the cause of death.

Prateek Yadav had been battling lung issues and receiving treatment for a blood clot in his lungs. When his health deteriorated in the morning, his family rushed him to the Civil Hospital. Despite no visible signs of injury on his body, a post-mortem examination will be carried out.
