Preparations for the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference (VGRC) in Surat on May 1 and 2 were discussed in a Cabinet meeting led by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel in Gandhinagar. The event aims to boost regional industrial growth and attract investments, focusing on 16 districts in Central and South Gujarat.
VGRC is more than just a conference; it is a strategic plan for the economic development of Surat and the surrounding regions. The conference will highlight and enhance the industrial capabilities of various districts, including Surat, Bharuch, Navsari, and Vadodara, among others.
Stakeholders from sectors like chemicals, textiles, gems, green energy, fintech, aerospace, and defense will participate in the two-day event at AURO University in Surat. The conference will emphasize connecting local industrial clusters with global markets and investment opportunities.
A Vibrant Gujarat Regional Exhibition will run concurrently with the conference, featuring a vendor development program and an international buyer-seller meet. Discussions on sectoral challenges and investment prospects will be held, with outcomes to be carried forward to future events.
