President Droupadi Murmu is set to visit Ayodhya on March 19 for special celebrations marking the Hindu New Year at the Ram Mandir. Former Babri Masjid litigant Iqbal Ansari expressed joy over the President’s visit, calling Ayodhya a sacred city of Lord Ram where people with good fortune come.

Ansari praised the government for its efforts in developing Ayodhya, emphasizing the city’s progress in areas like development, employment, and fostering brotherhood. He highlighted Ayodhya as a unique place in the country, symbolizing humanity with its worship of gods and goddesses.

During her visit, President Murmu will install the Shri Ram Yantra and Shri Ram Naam temple, participate in Vedic prayers, and honor around 400 workers involved in the temple’s construction. The President’s schedule includes hoisting a flag at one of the temples and engaging in various rituals guided by priest Ganeshwar Shastri.

The event will witness the presence of religious and social leaders, with 5,000 special guests invited. Security, seating, transport, and accommodation arrangements are being meticulously planned. Following the President’s program, the temple trust aims to grant access to additional shrines within the complex for devotees through a pass-based system.
