President Droupadi Murmu is set to meet renowned saint Premanand Maharaj at his Shri Hit Radha Keli Kunj Ashram in Vrindavan during her ongoing three-day visit to Uttar Pradesh. Seeking the saint’s blessings and engaging in spiritual discussions are on her agenda.
Additionally, the President will visit the memorial of Neem Karoli Baba and inaugurate a new Oncology Block at Ramakrishna Mission Sevashram, aiming to enhance cancer treatment facilities in the region. She will also visit Vatsalya Gram, an institution known for its care for the elderly and orphaned children.
President Murmu’s visit will conclude with prayers at the Danghati Temple in Govardhan, followed by the traditional Govardhan Parikrama, a seven-mile religious circuit, before returning to New Delhi. Her itinerary includes visits to key religious towns like Ayodhya, Mathura, and Vrindavan, participating in various ceremonies and public engagements.
In Ayodhya, the President was welcomed by Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak. She also visited the ISKCON Temple in Mathura, engaging in prayers and devotional rituals.
President Murmu recently installed the ‘Shri Ram Yantra’ at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya, marking a significant milestone in the temple’s construction. The completion of the temple is symbolized by this installation on its final level, the second floor.
Religious ceremonies were conducted by Vedic scholars from southern India, Kashi, and Ayodhya under the guidance of priest Ganeshwar Shastri.
