Prime Minister Narendra Modi presided over the fifth meeting of the National Conference of Chief Secretaries in New Delhi at Bharat Mandapam. The event aims to align the priorities of the Centre and states for the country’s national growth. PM Modi highlighted the importance of reform and performance in enhancing India’s administrative system during the conference.

The conference, themed ‘Human Capital for Viksit Bharat,’ focuses on various aspects such as early childhood education, schooling, skilling, higher education, and extracurricular activities. Discussions at the event cover topics like deregulation in states, technology in governance, and projects under Atmanirbhar Bharat. NITI Aayog, in collaboration with Union ministries and states, is organizing the conference to develop a common roadmap to maximize India’s human capital potential.
