Emphasizing the importance of a country’s dedication to its people’s welfare over population size, PM Modi noted the similarities between India and New Zealand in preserving their indigenous cultures and heritage. He acknowledged the growing collaboration between the two nations, particularly in space industry cooperation.
During his visit, PM Modi conveyed greetings from India’s 1.4 billion citizens and thanked the Indian community for their warm reception. He assured the diaspora that the 40-year gap since the last Indian Prime Minister’s visit to New Zealand would not be repeated, promising a more frequent engagement in the future.
