Prime Minister Narendra Modi received a warm welcome from an enthusiastic crowd during a roadshow in Dehradun on Tuesday. The crowd, chanting phrases like “Modiji aapka swagat hai,” “Bharat Mata Ki Jai,” and “Modi, Modi,” lined the route, waving the Tricolour and the BJP flag.
Dressed in traditional Uttarakhand attire, women and children also greeted the Prime Minister as his convoy passed by. Earlier, PM Modi visited the Jai Maa Daat Kali Temple in Dehradun, where children in traditional attire performed the Durga Devi Stotram and he interacted with other devotees.
The Prime Minister, along with Union Highways and Transportation Minister Nitin Gadkari and other officials, reviewed the Wildlife corridor on the Delhi-Dehradun Economic Corridor in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh. An exhibition showcasing the corridor’s construction process was presented, and the project was briefed to PM Modi.
PM Modi further engaged in a roadshow along the Wildlife Corridor in Saharanpur, where a large crowd gathered to catch a glimpse of him. Attendees in traditional costumes performed folk dances to welcome the Prime Minister. Later, he is set to inaugurate the Delhi-Dehradun Economic Corridor, a 213 km long six-lane access-controlled project developed at a cost exceeding Rs 12,000 crore.
