Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Gujarat for three days, starting Saturday, to take part in various religious, cultural, diplomatic, and infrastructure events in Somnath, Rajkot, and Ahmedabad.
The visit kicks off in Somnath on Saturday evening, where the Prime Minister will join devotees at the Somnath Temple for Omkar Mantra chanting and witness a special drone show.
On January 11, Modi will engage in the ‘Shaurya Yatra’, a ceremonial procession honoring warriors who defended the Somnath Temple. He will also perform Darshan and Pooja at the temple and attend a public function celebrating the ‘Somnath Swabhiman Parv’.
Moving to Rajkot, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference for the Kutch and Saurashtra region, starting with the trade show and exhibition, followed by addressing participants at Marwadi University.
In Ahmedabad on January 12, Modi will meet German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, visit the Sabarmati Ashram, participate in the International Kite Festival at Sabarmati Riverfront, and engage in bilateral talks to review progress under the India–Germany Strategic Partnership.
