The Beatles’ fans may be disappointed as producer Giles Martin has revealed that there are no plans to release any more secret Beatles tracks. Martin, who has delved into the Fab Four’s archives for the Disney Plus revived Beatles’ Anthology series and remixed albums, expressed his belief that there are no new discoveries left. Despite the ongoing interest in Beatles material, he stated that he thinks they have exhausted all possibilities.
Quoted by ‘The Sun,’ Martin acknowledged the continuous fascination with Beatles content. He mentioned that although surprises occasionally emerge, he currently does not anticipate any new findings. Martin highlighted the significance of the Anthology box set, particularly praising the raw and intense nature of the initial version of Helter Skelter. Responding to queries about unreleased extended versions, he indicated a sense of finality, suggesting that their exploration has reached its conclusion.
Giles Martin, whose father Sir George Martin was famously dubbed “the fifth Beatle” for his collaboration with the band, has found fulfillment in revisiting his father’s legacy. Reflecting on the enduring appeal of The Beatles, he emphasized the band’s positive impact on people. Martin expressed gratitude for the opportunity to engage with his father’s work, citing the uplifting effect of The Beatles’ music on listeners and the personal significance of being involved in such projects.
In addition to curating the new Anthology 4 album, Martin has undertaken the remastering of the complete collection for the anticipated 2025 re-release of The Beatles’ Anthology series. Furthermore, he is collaborating with director Sam Mendes on a series of four upcoming Beatles films, each dedicated to exploring the individual contributions of John Lennon, Sir Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Sir Ringo Starr.
