Producer Namit Malhotra has responded to criticism surrounding the VFX of his upcoming production ‘Ramayana’. Malhotra assured the audience through a social media post that the team is actively working to address the issues in the visual effects. He expressed gratitude for the overwhelming and inspiring response received in recent days, emphasizing the significance of the story of Rama in touching hearts worldwide.

Malhotra acknowledged the importance of the project by mentioning the dedication of thousands of individuals involved in the film’s production. He highlighted the passion and enthusiasm of the artists and collaborators striving to deliver excellence in every aspect of the project. The team is committed to upholding the sanctity of the narrative and is diligently working to ensure the best possible outcome.

The movie ‘Ramayana’, featuring actors like Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Yash, Sunny Deol, and Ravi Dubey, faced criticism on social media for its VFX quality in certain scenes from the first look featuring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram. The VFX for the film is being handled by Namit’s Oscar-winning VFX studio DNEG. The public reaction on social platforms included jokes about the use of AI tools for VFX and alleged budget inflation.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, ‘Ramayana’ boasts a musical collaboration between A. R. Rahman and Hans Zimmer, bridging industries for the project. The film, slated for release later this year, aims to bring a fresh perspective to the timeless epic tale.
