Pleased with the success of their recent film ‘Hotspot 2 Much’, the producers decided to reward director Vignesh Karthick with a Mahindra Scorpio as a token of their gratitude. In a viral video, producers Aneel K Reddy, Suresh, and Robbie were seen handing over the car key to the director, acknowledging the film’s profitability far exceeding their investment.
‘Hotspot 2 Much’, starring Priya Bhavani Shankar, Thambi Ramaiah, Rakshan, Ashwin Kumar, and Aadhitya Baaskar, was released on January 23 this year with a U/A certificate from the Censor Board. The film, a sequel to the Hotspot series, follows a storyline where a woman director narrates three distinct tales during a meeting with a producer.
Directed by Vignesh Karthick, the movie also featured M S Baaskar, Bhavani sre, Brigida Saga, and Sanjana tiwari in significant roles. Notably, the production was under actor Vishnu Vishal’s banner, Vishnu Vishal Studioz. The technical aspects of the film included cinematography by Jagadeesh Ravi and Joseph Paul, music by Satish Raghunathan, editing by Muthayan U, and art direction by C Shanmugam, with co-direction by Kishore Sankar.
