The investigation into the Lohagad Fort incident in Pune, initially deemed an accident but later confirmed as a murder, continues to uncover disturbing revelations. Recent findings suggest that Siya Goyal and her accomplice, Chetan Babulal Chaudhary, conspired to kill businessman’s son Ketan Agarwal during a vacation, staging it as an accidental fall. CCTV footage shows Goyal meeting Chaudhary at a cafe before the fatal incident at the fort.
The footage accessed by NDTV indicates that Goyal and Chaudhary met on June 18 at a Pune cafe to plot Agarwal’s murder. Both suspects have been charged with murder and conspiracy by the Pune police. They meticulously planned the crime, selecting spots on the fort to push Agarwal to his death. Goyal lured Agarwal to the fort, while Chaudhary shadowed them during the trek.
Around 10.30 a.m. to 11 a.m., Goyal informed Agarwal’s family that he had fallen into a gorge, claiming it was an accident. However, the police assert that he was deliberately pushed. Following a face-to-face confrontation, Goyal and Chaudhary were taken into custody for further questioning. Agarwal, the son of a prominent Pune businessman, was engaged to Goyal with a grand wedding planned for November.
