Punjab’s Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has called on the Akal Takht Jathedar to conduct a thorough inquiry into a fake video campaign aimed at the Chief Minister. The party highlighted that forensic analysis of over 1,100 frames has definitively proven that the individual in the video is not the Chief Minister.
AAP’s media in-charge, Baltej Pannu, emphasized the need to identify the actor, producers, directors, and financiers behind the video. He urged the Jathedar to summon Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Badal for explanations regarding his prior knowledge of the video.
Pannu reiterated Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s denial of any involvement in the video and stressed the importance of a comprehensive investigation to uncover the truth. He underlined the significance of identifying all parties responsible for the production and dissemination of the misleading video.
Arora and Cheema, state AAP officials, have already submitted evidence to the Director General of Police, pushing for a thorough probe into the entire incident. They have called for a fair and impartial investigation to expose all individuals associated with the fake video campaign.
