Punjab FC has unveiled its 27-player squad for the upcoming Indian Super League (ISL) 2025-26 season, marking their third appearance in India’s premier football league. The team, known as the Shers, is set to kick off their ISL journey against Jamshedpur FC on February 21 in Jamshedpur, with their first home match scheduled for March 9 against NorthEast United FC at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi. The squad, a mix of seasoned players and new talent, reflects Punjab FC’s focus on both competitiveness and nurturing young athletes.
Head coach Panagiotis Dilmperis, now in his second season with the club, has assembled a squad that strikes a balance between youthful vigor and seasoned experience. Retaining key members from the previous season and other recent tournaments, the team has also brought in foreign signings like Dani Ramirez, Samir Zeljkovic, Nsungusi Jnr Effiong, Bede Amarachi Osuji, and Pablo Renan Dos Santos. Additionally, the squad includes seven promising players from the academy, underscoring the club’s commitment to developing homegrown talent.
