Punjabi artist Diljit Dosanjh, along with music duo Sachet-Parampara, has launched a new song titled ‘Ishq Da Chehra’ for the upcoming movie ‘Border 2’. The song, sung by Diljit, Sachet Tandon, and Parampara Tandon, offers a heartfelt romantic melody that delves into the emotional essence of the film. It showcases personal connections that provide soldiers with inner strength beyond the battlefield.
The track, composed by Sachet-Parampara, features poignant lyrics by Kausar Munir. ‘Ishq Da Chehra’ intertwines the narratives of various characters in the film, including Sunny Deol and Mona Singh, Varun Dhawan and Medha Rana, Diljit Dosanjh and Sonam Bajwa, and Ahan Shetty and Anyaa Singh. The movie, set during the 1971 war and based on true events, is a presentation by Gulshan Kumar & T-Series, in collaboration with J.P. Dutta’s J.P. Films, and is directed by Anurag Singh.
Scheduled for release on January 23, ‘Border 2’ is supported by a strong production team comprising Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, J.P. Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta. The original ‘Border’ film, directed by J.P. Dutta and released in 1997, featured a stellar cast including Sunny Deol, Jackie Shroff, Suniel Shetty, and others, and remains a classic in Indian cinema.
