He criticized the handling of the case and questioned the need for transferring it to AIIMS.
Yadav raised concerns about the hostel’s management, highlighting the presence of unidentified individuals and the portrayal of the incident as a suicide. He demanded accountability and safety measures for girls residing in such hostels. Additionally, the Bihar State Women’s Commission has taken notice of the incident and initiated actions to ensure justice for the deceased.
The Women’s Commission chairperson, Professor Apsara, is set to visit Jehanabad to meet the victim’s family and oversee the situation. Apsara has urged swift action against the perpetrators and emphasized the Commission’s commitment to a thorough investigation. Following the Commission’s involvement, the hostel operator has been apprehended, and a Special Investigation Team has been formed to delve into the case.
