PVR Inox Pictures has refuted claims of taking legal action against filmmaker Vashu Bhagnani, dismissing them as “Misleading and Speculative.” The company had given a refundable advance of Rs. 100 crore to Bhagnani’s production house for the films ‘Mission Raniganj’, ‘Ganapath’, and ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’.
In the event that these movies did not meet revenue expectations, Puja Entertainment was supposed to repay the remaining amount. Unfortunately, all three films underperformed at the box office. PVR Inox Pictures has reportedly been pursuing the recovery of an alleged outstanding sum of approximately Rs 50 crore.
Contrary to recent media reports, PVR Inox Pictures clarified through an official statement that there is no intention of legal action against Vashu Bhagnani. The company emphasized a long-standing professional relationship with the Bhagnani family, highlighting mutual respect and collaboration over the years.
Emphasizing the positive rapport with Jackky Bhagnani, PVR Inox Pictures commended his professionalism and dedication to upholding Vashu Ji’s legacy. The company urged media outlets to verify information before spreading unconfirmed reports, underscoring their commitment to transparent and professional business practices.
