Former Bihar Chief Minister and Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Council, Rabri Devi, slammed the NDA government for its inability to maintain law and order in the state. During the Budget Session, she highlighted the rising cases of murders and rapes in Bihar, criticizing the government’s inaction in addressing these issues. Rabri Devi specifically targeted the BJP, stating that the situation under its rule is worse than what was termed ‘jungle raj’.

Rabri Devi questioned the government’s response to the escalating law-and-order crisis, emphasizing the need for accountability and concrete actions. She accused the ruling alliance of providing political protection to criminals, raising concerns about the government’s negligence towards public safety. Additionally, Rabri Devi expressed worries about Bihar’s financial state, alleging that the state treasury is empty while the government avoids discussing the matter in the Assembly.

The ongoing Budget Session of the Bihar Legislative Assembly has become a platform for Rabri Devi to challenge the NDA government and highlight its failures in ensuring public safety and managing finances. Her critical remarks aim to put pressure on the ruling party during this crucial legislative session.
