Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi accused the government of neglecting India’s education system due to frequent NEET paper leaks. He highlighted that over the past decade, 152 paper leaks have impacted 7.5 crore students and families without any convictions. Gandhi supported students protesting in Delhi, emphasizing their legitimate demands for fairness. He called for Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation, labeling him as corrupt and incompetent.
Gandhi urged accountability for NEET exam lapses and demanded an apology from the Prime Minister for the situation. He criticized the system for favoring privileged students over those from poorer backgrounds, leading to unequal opportunities. Gandhi stressed that despite hard work and financial sacrifices by many families, deserving students often lose out on medical seats to more privileged peers.
