Congress MP and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, is set to participate in the ongoing Sangathan Srijan training camp in Kurukshetra on Wednesday. The camp, held at Punjabi Dharamshala near Brahma Sarovar, has been running for nine days, focusing on strengthening the party at the grassroots level. District-level leadership from Haryana and Uttarakhand is actively involved in the program.

During his visit, Rahul Gandhi will engage with the district presidents attending the training camp. The initiative includes 59 district presidents from Haryana and Uttarakhand, undergoing sessions on organizational strengthening, election readiness, and coordination at the booth and block levels. Senior Congress leaders view this camp as a crucial preparation for upcoming electoral tasks.

MP Kumari Selja from Sirsa emphasized the significance of the training camp in revitalizing and fortifying the party’s organizational framework. She mentioned that Rahul Gandhi will gather feedback from district presidents and provide necessary guidance. The camp is seen as a strategic move ahead of impending elections.

A senior party official, speaking on condition of anonymity, disclosed that Rahul Gandhi is expected to spend around three hours at the camp. Apart from addressing the trainees, he will interact with the family members of district presidents, take photos, and share a meal at the venue before heading back to Ambala AFS later in the day. The visit is anticipated to have a positive impact on district-level leaders, showcasing the Congress leadership’s commitment to grassroots organization-building.
