The Rajasthan BJP Core Committee, led by veteran party leader Arun Chaturvedi, met in Jaipur to assess ongoing campaigns and organizational efforts in the state. Discussions included the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections and the government’s “Gram Rath Yatra” initiative to support farmers. The meeting also addressed the NEET examination controversy, criticizing the politicization of the issue by the Congress.
The committee expressed satisfaction with the government’s outreach to farmers through the “Gram Rath Yatra” campaign, aimed at conveying policies and commitments effectively. It also condemned the Congress for politicizing the NEET examination irregularities, highlighting the Central government’s swift response in canceling the exam and involving the CBI in the investigation. Former State BJP President Chaturvedi noted the BJP’s past calls for a CBI inquiry into the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) during the previous government’s tenure.
The meeting, attended by both physical and virtual members, saw the participation of senior BJP leaders, including Union Ministers and former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje. Discussions also touched upon organizational training camps, rising fuel prices, and the government’s efforts to mitigate consumer burdens. Chaturvedi praised the Central government’s subsidy measures to alleviate fuel price hikes and contrasted them with the Congress’s handling of similar issues during the previous state government’s tenure.
