Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma reassured the public about the sufficient availability of petrol, diesel, LPG, and fertilizers in the state, urging citizens not to panic. He emphasized the government’s efforts to prevent any artificial shortages by taking strict action against hoarding and black marketing.
Sharma highlighted the operational helpline numbers for LPG-related issues and directed prompt resolution of complaints to ensure uninterrupted supply. District administrations and logistics departments have been alerted to ensure smooth distribution, especially of LPG cylinder refills, without delays.
The Chief Minister emphasized the need to expand the City Gas Distribution network to reduce reliance on LPG and accelerate the rollout of Piped Natural Gas connections for households and commercial establishments. He also instructed officials to clear pending approvals for infrastructure development within 24 hours.
Sharma mentioned the approval of additional allocations for commercial LPG and 5-kg cylinders for various establishments, ensuring their optimal utilization without misuse. Both the Central and state governments are collaborating to ensure ample availability of urea, DAP, and other fertilizers, with recent expansions in urea production capacity.
