Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma recently oversaw arrangements for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming visit to Ajmer on February 28. The visit is set to unveil development projects totaling Rs 23,500 crore. Sharma highlighted the significance of the Prime Minister’s visit in advancing the state’s development initiatives.
The Chief Minister conducted a comprehensive review meeting with senior officials at the Chief Minister’s Office to ensure timely completion of all arrangements at Kayad Rest House. Emphasizing the necessity of coordination among departments, Sharma stressed the importance of a seamless event execution.
Sharma scrutinized preparations concerning venue infrastructure, seating, water facilities, parking, medical services, sanitation, traffic management, and security measures. He urged officials to fulfill their duties diligently and ensure all arrangements are finalized promptly. Additionally, he sought information on the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) program and its beneficiaries linked to the event.
Sharma called for collaborative efforts among all departments and the Ajmer district administration to guarantee the successful execution of arrangements for the Prime Minister’s visit. Notable attendees at the review meeting included Chief Secretary V. Srinivas, Director General of Police Rajiv Kumar Sharma, senior officials, department representatives, and Ajmer district administration officials.
