Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma participated in the Assam government’s swearing-in event in Guwahati, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi was also present. Chief Minister Sharma congratulated Himanta Biswa Sarma on becoming the new Chief Minister of Assam and wished success to the newly appointed Ministers. He expressed confidence in the joint efforts of the central and state governments to drive development in Assam.
During his visit, CM Sharma met CM Sarma, offered him a bouquet, and conveyed his best wishes on his new role. The event was attended by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and various other dignitaries from NDA-ruled states. Chief Minister Sharma expressed his happiness and pride in being part of the historic ceremony.
In a statement, the Rajasthan Chief Minister highlighted the significance of the occasion and praised the people’s trust in the BJP government’s commitment to public service. He expressed optimism that under CM Sarma’s leadership, Assam would witness accelerated development and emphasized the importance of a prosperous and secure state.
