The Rajasthan government made sudden changes by replacing Police Superintendents in 22 districts along with a total of 64 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers. Nine officers who were promoted from Superintendent to Deputy Inspectors General (DIG) were among those affected. Various officers from units like the Cyber Crime wing, Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), and Anti-Narcotics wing were also transferred.
According to the Department of Personnel’s orders, Ajay Singh is now the Additional Commissioner of Police-I in Jaipur, while Yogesh Yadav moved from the Anti-Narcotics wing to become a DIG in the ATS. Rashi Dogra Dudi transitioned from SP (Jaipur Rural) to DIG in the CID-CB. Vinay Kumar D.H. is now the Aide-de-Camp (ADC) to the Governor, and several other appointments were made across different roles and locations.
The reshuffle also saw appointments like Monika Sen as SP in Pali, Dr. Amrita Duhan in Udaipur, and P.D. Nitya in Jaipur Rural. Ranjita Sharma and Prashant Kiran were named Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCP) for different zones in Jaipur. The Anti-Narcotics Task Force underwent changes to combat drug-related crimes effectively.
Several officers received new postings across districts in Rajasthan following the recent administrative reshuffle. Names like Sudhir Joshi, Sanjeev Nain, Narendra Singh, and Monica Sen were among those reassigned to different locations. The move aimed to optimize the distribution of officers for efficient governance and law enforcement.
