Rajasthan Medical Minister Gajendra Singh Khimsar’s son, Dhananjay Singh, has reported receiving death threats from an unidentified person via phone calls and social media messages. The Khimsar Police have taken the matter seriously and launched an investigation into the threats. The incident took place while Dhananjay was at his office, Atal Bhavan, located within Khimsar Fort, when he received a call inquiring about his plans to visit Jaipur.
Dhananjay mentioned that he was scheduled to travel to Jaipur in two days for a Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) meeting. Subsequently, the caller threatened him, stating, “Be careful, I will shoot you,” when questioned about the reason for the warning and the caller’s identity. Dhananjay informed the caller that he was accompanied by an armed Quick Response Team (QRT), leading to the caller disconnecting the call. Additionally, Dhananjay has also faced threatening comments and messages on his official Facebook page in recent days.
Khimsar Police have registered an FIR against the unidentified person, and Sub-Inspector Amar Chand is overseeing the investigation due to the severity of the threat. Collaborating with the cyber cell, the police are working to trace the caller’s location and identify the source of the threatening social media content. Authorities are exploring all angles of the case and will take appropriate action once the culprit is identified.
