Rajasthan’s Agriculture and Rural Development Minister, Kirodi Lal Meena, visited the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) headquarters to discuss the ongoing Rajasthan State Seed Corporation case investigation. Minister Meena emphasized that if found guilty, he should be promptly arrested. He also insisted that if innocent, the ACB should issue a public clarification to dispel any doubts.
The Minister expressed concerns over the confusion caused by references to unnamed individuals in the FIR related to the former Managing Director’s arrest. He urged the ACB to clearly identify these individuals and clarify any connections to government officials. Minister Meena highlighted the need for transparency to prevent speculation and misunderstandings.
Accusing certain parties of attempting to tarnish his reputation, Minister Meena refrained from naming them but stressed the distress caused by the situation. He called for a fair investigation and emphasized his lack of involvement in any financial transactions linked to the case. Additionally, he requested the ACB to uphold ethical boundaries and avoid damaging reputations without concrete evidence.
Minister Meena expressed intentions to discuss the matter with Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma and consider seeking an independent judicial inquiry if necessary. He criticized media reports for creating confusion by using terms like “Dr. Minister” and reiterated his demand for the ACB to disclose the identities mentioned in the FIR to clear any public misconceptions.
