The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has released the final results of the Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) Recruitment 2024, marking the conclusion of the selection process for 1,096 positions. Candidates can check their results on the Commission’s official website. Dinesh Bishnoi from Barmer has secured the top position after previously achieving the 57th rank in a prior examination and currently undergoing training for the Rajasthan Police Service.
Virendra Charan from Jaisalmer has secured the second position. He is the son of a Head Constable and is currently serving as a Tehsildar. The Commission has published a merit list of 2,391 candidates following the interviews conducted on April 17. Dinesh Bishnoi, who hails from Bhalisar village in Barmer, has shown consistent progress, moving from the 948th rank in 2021 to 57th and now topping the recent exam. His father, Ramdhan Manju, is a retired District Education Officer.
Virendra Charan, the second-rank holder, is from Rampuriya village in Pokaran (Jaisalmer). His father, Jethudan Charan, is a Head Constable in the police department. Virendra had previously been selected as a Tehsildar and is currently in training. The RAS 2024 recruitment process consisted of three stages: the Preliminary Examination, the Main Examination, and the Interview. The interview phase began on April 1, 2025, and was conducted in multiple stages.
The selection process concluded with the final phase of interviews, where candidates were chosen based on merit. Being included in the selection list is a significant accomplishment for candidates, as the RAS examination is one of the most prestigious competitive exams in the state. Many successful candidates have expressed their happiness and gratitude towards their families and teachers. The Commission will soon issue instructions regarding document verification and appointment for the selected candidates.
