The Rajasthan Royals, gearing up for the upcoming IPL season, received motivation from head coach Kumar Sangakkara. Sangakkara emphasized an inclusive coaching approach, encouraging players to voice concerns and offer suggestions during the preparation camp. He stressed the importance of communication and collaboration among team members to achieve shared goals.
Sangakkara, in a video shared by Rajasthan Royals, urged players to engage with coaches, communicate their needs, and understand team expectations. Emphasizing a relaxed yet focused work environment, he highlighted the significance of utilizing practice time effectively for individual and team development.
Former Sri Lankan cricketer Sangakkara advised the team to strike a balance in practice duration, ensuring that everyone’s needs are met efficiently. Expressing optimism for the upcoming season, he encouraged a cohesive team spirit and anticipated a successful campaign with the inclusion of new team members.
As per the BCCI’s 20-match schedule, Rajasthan Royals will kick off their season against Chennai Super Kings on March 30 in Guwahati. Led by Riyan Parag, the team will then face the Gujarat Titans in Ahmedabad on April 4, followed by home matches against Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore on April 7 and 10, respectively.
