Rajasthan Royals’ player Vaibhav Sooryavanshi showcased his talent by hitting four sixes against Sunrisers Hyderabad’s bowler Praful Hinge, who had dismissed him in their previous encounter. Sooryavanshi, motivated by criticism after an early wicket against Hinge on April 13, expressed his determination to respond with his performance.
In a conversation with RR manager Romi Bhinder, Sooryavanshi mentioned that he focused on a clear plan against the bowler and aimed to reply to the critics with his batting skills. The young player emphasized that he trusted his preparation and played with freedom during his innings.
Sooryavanshi, who faced concerns over a hamstring issue during the game, provided an update on his fitness, stating that he was feeling better and would recover in time for the next match. The 15-year-old’s remarkable 103 off 37 balls propelled Rajasthan Royals to a formidable total of 228/6, setting a strong position in the game.
Sunrisers Hyderabad successfully chased down the target with nine balls to spare, credited to Ishan Kishan’s 74 and Abhishek Sharma’s 57, who formed a crucial 132-run partnership to secure the victory.
