In response to the intense cold wave in Rajasthan, district administrations have made changes to school schedules. The India Meteorological Department has issued alerts for cold wave conditions in 11 districts, with relief expected after January 14–15. Authorities have issued directives to ensure students’ health and safety during this period.

In Jaipur, schools up to the 5th grade are closed from January 12 to 13, while classes 9 to 12 will operate from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. starting January 14. In Nagaur, schools up to the 5th grade are closed on January 12 and 13, and in Dausa, holidays are declared for all students up to Class 8 from January 12.

In various districts like Sikar, Jalore, and Jhunjhunu, schools for younger classes are closed due to the cold wave. In Hanumangarh, Monday is a holiday for classes 1 to 8, with Tuesday being a Lohri holiday. Parents are advised to ensure children are properly dressed for the cold weather and to stay updated on official announcements.
