Rajasthan’s Manini Kaushik and Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar Shine in Shooting Trials

Rajasthan’s Manini Kaushik and Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar excelled in the Rifle/Pistol National Selection Trials 1&2 at the Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Range. Kaushik topped the women’s 50m rifle prone event with a score of 625.0, followed by Tilottama Sen and Vidarsa K. Vinod. In the men’s category, Tomar secured the top spot with an impressive 629.6, with Akhil Sheoran and Swapnil Kusale following closely behind.

The competition was intense, with athletes like Supriya Kumari, Priya, and Nischal showcasing strong performances. In the men’s event, shooters like Nishan Budha and Chain Singh displayed their skills. Omkar Singh leads the 25m Rapid Fire Pistol event, with Bhavesh Shekhawat and Ankur Goel in second and third place respectively.

The upcoming events include the finals of the 50m Rifle 3 Positions for both men and women, along with the T2 finals of the 50m rifle prone events. Anish Bhanwala currently holds the seventh position in the 25m Rapid Fire Pistol event. The competition promises more thrilling performances in the days ahead.
