Actress Rakul Preet Singh discussed the influence of online criticism and trolling, as well as the effects of social media on actors. She emphasized the importance for actors to distance themselves from constant online chatter to focus on their work. Rakul highlighted that letting internet comments affect one’s work can be detrimental, especially for newcomers in the industry.

In a conversation with IANS, Rakul mentioned that social media’s impact has grown significantly in recent years, particularly during the COVID-19 lockdown. She noted the rise of people expressing their opinions online and advised actors to ignore the noise, concentrate on their work, and disconnect from social media distractions. Rakul stressed the need for actors to avoid being swayed by public opinions on social platforms to maintain focus and productivity.

Regarding her upcoming projects, Rakul is set to star in the romantic comedy “Pati Patni Aur Woh Do” alongside Ayushmann Khurrana, Sara Ali Khan, and Wamiqa Gabbi. Produced by T-Series, B R Studios, Bhushan Kumar, Renu Ravi Chopra, and Krishan Kumar, with Juno Chopra as the creative producer, the film is scheduled for release on May 15.
