The team behind director Buchi Babu Sana’s upcoming film ‘Peddi’, starring Ram Charan, has urged fans to disregard any circulating rumors about the movie’s final runtime. Publicist Vamsi Sekhar clarified that only the first half of the film has been finalized, with the background score nearing completion by A.R. Rahman. The second half is currently in the final shooting phase, alongside ongoing editing work, all progressing smoothly for the scheduled grand release on April 30, 2026.
Recently, the film’s makers unveiled the intro song ‘Rai Rai Raa Raa’, featuring Ram Charan, much to the excitement of fans and cinephiles. A.R. Rahman, the Oscar-winning composer, has crafted a high-energy dance track with infectious rhythm, where he also lends his vocals, adding a unique charm to the song and setting a vibrant tone for the film.
Ram Charan shines in the song with his signature blend of energy and grace, delivering a visually captivating performance. Choreographer Jani Master’s work is highlighted for creating a dynamic visual spectacle that complements Charan’s persona. The lyrics by Anantha Sriram enhance the mass appeal of the song, celebrating Charan’s character with grandeur and style, while the production design and cinematography elevate the visual experience to a larger-than-life scale.
‘Peddi’, produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas and presented by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, is set for a worldwide release on April 30, featuring Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead and a stellar supporting cast including Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyendu Sharma, and Boman Irani. Ram Charan’s role in the film, a first of its kind, is being edited by National Award-winning editor Navin Nooli.
