Ram Mandir Construction Committee Chairman Nripendra Misra stated that despite recent controversies over donations, devotees are steadfastly visiting the temple without any doubts in the system. Misra mentioned that there has been no decline in the number of daily worshippers, with devotees primarily focused on offering prayers to Lord Ram. He reassured that devotee footfall remains strong, especially on weekends, dispelling concerns of decreased attendance in Ayodhya.
Misra expressed deep regret over the recent theft of donations at the Ram Mandir and pledged to enhance security measures to prevent such incidents in the future. He highlighted that the construction of the Ram Mandir is in its final stages, with only two significant tasks pending completion. The first task involves finalizing arrangements for the old temple and its memorial, while the second task pertains to finishing the memorial by the end of July.
Updating on the progress of the temple’s boundary wall, Misra affirmed confidence in meeting the construction deadlines as planned. He anticipated that most construction work within the temple complex would be finished by India’s Independence Day this year, emphasizing the importance of meeting the August 15 deadline for pending work within the premises.
