Chairman of the Ram Mandir Construction Committee, Nripendra Misra, announced that the Ram Temple construction is finished, with a focus on achieving compliance by the end of April. A crucial meeting of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust is set to take place in Ayodhya to finalize decisions on temple operations and visitor arrangements.
Misra highlighted ongoing reviews concerning vendor payments and necessary building document submissions to the trust. Approximately 50 issues are under scrutiny to ensure all queries are addressed for compliance by April’s end. He also mentioned the reassignment of roles for key officials and project engineers from Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T) and Tata.
Emphasizing the significance of the temple’s boundary wall, Misra noted its recent detailed inspection for safety purposes. He mentioned the involvement of the police department in suggesting required improvements. Additionally, plans for constructing 25 watch towers for safety were discussed, with one tower already approved and the rest to follow suit.
Regarding the Ayodhya temple museum, Misra outlined a focus on script approval and technology considerations. A committee has been formed for inspection, and decisions on the script and technology are expected to be finalized soon for tendering. Discussions in the upcoming meeting may cover arrangements for darshan at the seven auxiliary temples within the complex, including the Sapt Rishi temples, with a shift towards simpler and traditional rituals for religious ceremonies and events.
