Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust President Mahant Nritya Gopal Das expressed deep concern over the alleged theft of donations from the Ram Temple. He called for severe punishment for the culprits and emphasized the importance of not politicizing the issue. Das also expressed confidence in Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to ensure justice without political motives.
Das stated, “I am deeply distressed by the theft of donations from the temple of Shri Ramlalla Sarkar. Whoever has committed this sin must face the severest possible punishment.” He highlighted the significance of the matter to millions of Hindus and urged against using it for personal gain through politics.
The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust is set to convene a crucial meeting to address the resignations of Trust’s General Secretary Champat Rai and Trustee Anil Mishra. The meeting will also discuss the ongoing Special Investigation Team (SIT) probe into alleged irregularities related to temple donation collections and management.
The Trust’s Treasurer, Swami Govind Dev Giri, issued a notice for the meeting, approved by Trust President Mahant Nritya Gopal Das. The agenda includes considering resignations, reviewing the SIT interim report on donation funds, discussing future temple management arrangements, and addressing financial details for the financial year 2025-26.
Members have been urged to attend the meeting scheduled for 3 p.m. on July 6 at Mani Ram Das Chhavni in Ayodhya Dham, Uttar Pradesh. The meeting’s success hinges on achieving the required quorum to make decisions on the resignations.
