The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has organized a meeting of all trustees on July 22 at 4 p.m. in Ayodhya. Discussions will revolve around the anticipated final report of the Special Investigation Team (SIT). Additionally, a special meeting is set for the same day at 3 p.m.

The appointment of the first Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Temple Trust is on the agenda for the upcoming meeting. Other topics include confirming the proceedings of the previous Trust meeting held on July 6 and reorganizing committees as per Trust rules.

During the July 6 meeting, the Trust accepted the resignations of former General Secretary Champat Rai and former trustee Anil Mishra amidst the probe into alleged irregularities of offerings. Trust Treasurer Govind Dev Giri, in a press conference, labeled the theft of donations as “shameful” and stressed accountability and administrative reforms.

The investigation into the theft of offerings from the Ram Mandir has progressed significantly, with key accused individuals being intensively questioned during custody remand. A total of eight individuals have been arrested in connection with the case.
