The Ranchi Titans have become the first team to secure a spot in the semifinals of the Jharkhand T20 Cricket League 2026 by defeating the Jamshedpur Steelers with a six-wicket victory. Joining them in the final four are the Koylanchal Super Kings, who also ensured their qualification based on the current points table standings.
In another match, the Dhanbad Diamonds kept their campaign alive by claiming their first win of the season against the Santhal Strikers at the JSCA International Stadium Complex.
During the first match of the day, the Santhal Strikers set a challenging target of 183/6 in their 20 overs. The Dhanbad Diamonds’ bowlers, led by Vivekanand Tiwari with figures of 2/33, contained the opposition’s batting lineup effectively.
Chasing 184 for victory, the Dhanbad Diamonds’ batsmen, led by Aditya Singh’s quickfire 59 off 32 balls and Vikash Kumar Vishal’s unbeaten 79 off 56 balls, achieved the target with ease, finishing at 185/3 in 18.4 overs.
In the evening game, the Jamshedpur Steelers posted 179/6, with Sahil Raj scoring 61* off 32 balls. However, the Ranchi Titans comfortably chased down the target, reaching 180/4 in 18 overs, with Shikhar Mohan’s unbeaten 82* and Satya Setu’s quick 57 guiding them to a six-wicket victory.
