Rapper Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, is gearing up to delight his fans with his first major show in the United States after a long hiatus. The much-anticipated performance is scheduled to take place at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium on April 3. This show is being promoted as his exclusive appearance in Los Angeles, creating a buzz among his followers.
Ye’s supporters were directed to his website to pre-register for the show by pre-saving his upcoming album, ‘Bully’. The website mentioned that a select few pre-registrants would have the chance to win complimentary tickets for the event. This move has generated excitement and anticipation among his dedicated fan base.
In recent years, Ye has faced criticism for making anti-semitic comments on social media and during interviews, leading to a decline in his live performances. Despite this, he performed in Mexico City earlier this year and held a few shows in South Korea and China dating back to 2024. His previous appearance at SoFi Stadium was in collaboration with Ty Dolla Sign at Rolling Loud in 2024, which was more of a listening party for their album ‘Vultures 1’.
The upcoming show in Los Angeles follows Ye’s public apology published in The Wall Street Journal, where he acknowledged his past mistakes and expressed remorse for the hurt he caused. In his letter, Ye attributed his behavior to untreated brain damage and mental health issues, emphasizing that it did not justify his actions. He also extended apologies to the Black community, acknowledging his shortcomings and expressing regret for disappointing them. Ye is now preparing for the launch of his new album ‘Bully’, which he introduced through various full-length versions of a film in March 2025.
