The filming of director Rawindra Pulle’s action thriller ‘Mysaa’, starring Rashmika Mandanna, has commenced its 15-day action schedule in Kerala. Stunt master Kecha Khampakdi has designed high-energy action sequences for the movie, with Rashmika set to showcase intense action scenes alongside other key actors. Rashmika had undergone rigorous training at a stunt and combat bootcamp in Bangkok to prepare for these sequences.
Sources revealed that Rashmika dedicated over eight hours daily to training for her role in ‘Mysaa’ in Bangkok. Portraying a tribal Gond girl in the film, Rashmika’s character demands both emotional depth and physical strength. The film, under the supervision of international action director Andy Long, aims to establish a new standard for female-led action in Indian cinema.
Driven by the script’s impact, Rashmika committed to transforming herself physically and mentally for the role. She immersed herself in an intensive stunt and combat bootcamp in Bangkok, focusing on advanced stunt techniques, hand-to-hand combat, and high-speed action coordination. Now back from her training, Rashmika has joined the unit in Kerala to kick off the action schedule.
Apart from Rashmika Mandanna, ‘Mysaa’ also stars Eshwari Rao, Guru Somasundaram, and Rao Ramesh in significant roles. The film’s cinematography is handled by Shreyaas P Krishna, with music composed by Jakes Bejoy. International stunt choreographer Andy Long is overseeing the action sequences for this ambitious project.
