Defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) are set to play against three-time winners Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the 57th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium. RCB, currently at the top of the points table with 14 points in 11 matches, are aiming to secure a playoff spot after a recent victory over Mumbai Indians.
On the other hand, KKR, who initially struggled in the season and were near the bottom of the points table, have made a strong comeback with four consecutive wins. Positioned at eighth place with nine points in ten matches, KKR are now serious contenders for a top-four finish and are eyeing a remarkable turnaround in the tournament.
In head-to-head encounters, KKR holds the advantage over RCB, having won 20 out of 36 matches played between the two teams, while RCB has won 15 matches. The upcoming match is scheduled for Wednesday, May 13, at 7:30 PM IST at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur.
