Reese Witherspoon Celebrates Festive Season with Lookalike Children

Hollywood actress Reese Witherspoon is embracing the holiday spirit with her children who bear a striking resemblance to her. Witherspoon, known for her role in ‘Big Little Lies’, shared a series of Instagram photos featuring herself with each of her kids.
In one photo, the 49-year-old actress and her 26-year-old daughter, Ava Phillippe, were seen in matching black and metallic outfits, exuding a strong resemblance. Another snap captured Witherspoon alongside her 22-year-old son, Deacon Phillippe. Both Ava and Deacon are Witherspoon’s children with her former husband, Ryan Phillippe. The post, captioned “Making Merry”, also included a rare photo of Witherspoon with her 13-year-old son, Tennessee James Toth, from her previous marriage to Jim Toth.
The collection of snapshots included images of a festive charcuterie board, a beautifully decorated Christmas tree, and an impressive gingerbread house. Witherspoon sported a Christmas jumper and denim pants in a photo with her mother, Betty, surrounded by airplanes. Additionally, the ‘Legally Blonde’ star shared a picture from a shopping outing with Laura Dern.

This festive post with her children follows Witherspoon’s recent revelation about her battle with depression after the birth of her daughter, Ava, in 1999 when she was 23 years old. Speaking to Harper’s Bazaar, Witherspoon disclosed, “It was really bad. In the first six months, I was simultaneously happy and depressed. I just cried all the time, I was up all night, I was exhausted.” The actress, who is also the founder of media company Hello Sunshine, shared that she sought help from a mental-health specialist after feeling overwhelmed by societal expectations.
