Showcasing Uttar Pradesh’s AI leadership, the ‘Regional AI Impact Conference 2026’ is set to be held in Lucknow on January 12-13. Organized by IndiaAI and the IT Ministry in collaboration with the Uttar Pradesh government, the event aims to highlight advanced uses of artificial intelligence in governance and public services.
The conference will focus on aligning state-level projects with the goals of the IndiaAI Mission. It will emphasize real-world applications of AI in healthcare, digital infrastructure, and state-led initiatives. The goal is to promote collaboration among governments, industry players, academia, and startups within the IndiaAI framework.
Expected outcomes from the conference, including discussions at the IndiaAI Working Group Meeting, will contribute to the national roadmap for the ‘IndiaAI Impact Summit 2026’ in February. This event in Uttar Pradesh is part of a series of eight Regional AI Impact Conferences being organized nationwide.
The conference agenda includes sessions on global AI trends, AI-driven healthcare services, readiness for AI adoption at the state level, digital infrastructure for healthcare, AI in diagnostics and clinical practices, and workforce development. It will bring together policymakers, government officials, industry experts, and researchers to discuss the ethical and scalable integration of AI, particularly in healthcare, digital infrastructure, economic development, and societal welfare.
