Renowned South Indian film producer and businessman R.B. Chaudhary, aged 76, passed away in a road accident near Jhunta village on National Highway-162 in Rajasthan’s Pali. Chaudhary, originally from Risaniya near Sojat Road and residing in Chennai, was returning from a family wedding in Lilamba village when the accident occurred due to cattle on the road. The vehicle lost control and collided with a roadside safety wall, leading to Chaudhary’s immediate demise.
The car driver, Gautam Seervi, suffered severe injuries in the accident and was provided first aid before being transferred to Jodhpur for further medical care. Authorities from Raipur police station promptly responded to the scene, with Assistant Sub-Inspector Manohar Lal Khoja overseeing the rescue operations and ensuring the injured were taken to the hospital for treatment. The body of R.B. Chaudhary underwent post-mortem examination before being handed over to his family.
Police mentioned that the mortal remains have been moved to Chennai for the final rites. Former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot expressed his condolences over the tragic incident, offering prayers for Chaudhary’s soul and wishing a quick recovery for the injured driver. The untimely demise of R.B. Chaudhary has triggered sorrow among the local community and his peers in the film and business sectors.
